Blood work after living on 100% MRP's (Pulve)

Hi there,

The Dutch film maker Matthijs Diederiks is living on total meal replacements for the last 6 months and is recording everything. He agreed to us that we can show his results to the community. How cool is that.
He has consumed meal replacement products from 3 different MRP suppliers and our product Pulve. He has consumed Pulve for the last 6 weeks.

Blood work after living on 100% MRP's (Pulve)

For those who are interested, We will provide his blood test data. The data was in Dutch but we translated it a bit to be understandable for our English readers.  Here we go:

Points of consideration:

Matthijs has mentioned that his BMI is gradually declining. It might be because his body is not utilising all of the nutrients. He will counteract this by consuming a bit more calories in order to maintaining his weight. The only noticeable thing was his high levels of Ureum. Euream is excreted when protein is broken down by the body. In short, he is taking in too much protein for this body.

Our question would be, if this consequence can be mitigated by weight lifting or any training that requires protein for building muscle. The body then needs the extra protein for hypertrophy (building muscle).

All with all this is very interesting data and we hope that more people are willing to do blood work after living on total meal replacements.

All the best,

Ruud
