Release post: Pulve 2.0

Dear reader,

Pulve is now available! Also new orders will be shipped today!

In short: Pulve is back in stock and orders are shipped as we speak. We changed the formula according to our new strategy. Read the entire post to find out.

Pulve 2.0 - Vegan

What an exciting year, a lot has happened. It took some time, but we reorganized our entire strategy, product and brand.

Some of you may have read and noticed our change of brand and appearance. We released an earlier post about all the changes that have occurred during the last months. You can read that post here. click here.

We would like to thank everyone for their patience regarding the launch of our new product. In March, after months of product testing we had developed a product we felt proud of and thought we were ready to launch. It then turned out some partners didn’t come forward with what they had agreed on. In order to maintain the best quality for our product, we saw ourselves forced to find new suppliers and start developing from scratch. We were not happy about it then, but now, several months later, it has resulted in a far better product: Pulve 2.0

Our improved Pulve is ready and being shipped to our pre-order customers as we speak. We work with the fastest fulfillment centres to make sure Pulve will be delivered to your door step as fast as possible.

We think Pulve tastes delicious and it’s completely vegan. Our ingredients are specified below. For a full nutrition sheet, click here.

Biggest improvements in Pulve 2.0

The macro nutrient ratio is: 48% carbohydrates, 25% protein and 27% fats. 4 single meal pouches will deliver the recommended daily vitamin and mineral values and the equivalent of 2124 Kcal’s

Ingredients:

Protein: The new version holds pea protein, lupine protein, oat protein and protein from flaxseed. This blend will deliver every essential amino acid. Making it easy for vegans to hit their protein requirements.

Carbohydrates: Long sustained energy is provided by oat flour that has a smooth mouth feel and mixes easily.

Fats: Brown flaxseed and vegetable oil provide adequate amounts of mono, poly and saturated fats. The new addition has an improved Omega 3 and Omega 6 vegan ratio.

Fibres: We increased the amount of fibres to 11.8 grams per meal. Oats, pea and lupine provide insoluble fibres. Soluble fibres are provided by inulin, which break down in probiotic bacteria, keeping your gut bacteria fresh and healthy.

Additional nutrition: Choline bitartrate is part of the B vitamin group and is an essential part of phospholipids.

Not included: We decided not to include fluoride, lactose, soy, malto-dextrin, aspartame and acesulfame K because these ingredients don’t align with our vision of health and sustainability.

As stated in our previous post Pulve 2.0 has improved packaging:

Single meal pouch: A new addition to the pouch is that Pulve will be available in handy, single meal packaging. This can add more convenience to your daily regime. We found that carrying a bulky pouch was not desirable and unhandy. Now, you can just tear open the single sachet, toss your meal in the shaker or a blender, and enjoy with ease. The single meal provides 530 Kcal of nutrition in 1 meal.

100% biodegradable: The most important aspect of the new packaging, is that it’s 100% biodegradable according to European EN-13432 and AIB Vinçotte OK Compost certifications.

This type of Tiplock pouch is the first of its kind to be completely 100% biodegradable. Made from cellulose and vegetal oil. &nbsp We do want to emphasise the fact that you should not throw this pouch unconsciously in anything other than a trash can or bin. Besides the fact that polluting isn’t cool, this pouch needs some time to break down. We wanted to simultaneously increase convenience for our customers while decreasing the total amount of plastics we use. It wasn’t an easy job to say the least. Pulve will do its best to make the innovative MRP sector even better. We are very proud of the fact that we can incorporate the Bio Based Economy into our daily business.

We are eager to hear your thoughts on Pulve. Is there something we can improve? Just want to say hi? Don’t be shy, drop us a line!

Cheers & Enjoy Pulve ;)

@nik

Pulve is not like Soylent 2.0. in that it is premixed. Pulve mixes very well with water and does not leave bits of powder

What about the texture? Any chance it is similar to soylent, i.e., all liquid?
